I've had many conversations with good Protestant friends of mine about the similarities between Catholics and all other denominations. The saying I hear most often is, "we all pretty much believe the same things anyway, right?"
Wrong.
That's a hard pill to swallow. It can be an even harder pill to administer. We don't like showing people where we are divided. We're divided enough, aren't we?
I agree that we don't need to be constantly running around calling people heretics and having theological debates, especially if we agree on most values and principles.
BUT there is a difference between Catholic beliefs and Protestant beliefs. And these differences are substantial. The differences impact our road to salvation, so they're important enough to share.
In today's episode, I highlight some of those differences. This is Part Two of Catholic vs. Protestant, so be sure to check out the first episode if you haven't yet!
