Today I am so honored to talk with my friend Joy Klohantaz! Joy is an international speaker, coach and Relationship Marketing Specialist and she is known for spreading kindness and helping businesses to form good relationships with their own clients.
Relationship Marketing is so much more than just sending a card or a gift. It's about making your clients feel valued and appreciated and every company should make it a priority. Joy talks with me about her journey through becoming the 1st of only 7 women in the country (at that time) to be a General Manager for the K-Mart Department Stores. Her journey is one of consistency, staying the course, and acting on her promptings to uplift others. Joy is such a sweet spirit who is changing the world one simple act of kindness at a time.

Joy Klohonatz is an International speaker and coach who conducts workshops, seminars and one on one personal coaching. In her coaching it’s all about showing appreciation towards others and continuing to reinforce the necessity of having a good relationship marketing program in place.
Joy has spent much of her life making a positive impact on people’s lives. While a general store manager of 3 different Kmart stores, and leading by example, her stores and employees received numerous awards and recognition for superior customer service.
Today, in addition to her coaching and being an executive in SendOutCards, she spends much of her time volunteering in her community and serving on several board of directors. She is a founding member of Angel’s Angels and recently launched the third chapter of Inspired Women Paying it Forward in Westmoreland County. This giving circle in meeting just 4 times a year has contributed over $25,000 to benefit woman nonprofits locally and globally.
She continues to be driven by her favorite quote –
- “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, BUT people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou
