Episode 127 of “The Sports Experience Podcast” is here & we’re discussing one of the most exciting hockey players of the 1990s, Pavel Bure.
After leaving the Soviet Union for America, Bure became a star for the Vancouver Canucks during the early stages of his career.
Bure’s goal scoring prowess, speed and ability to create huge plays helped Vancouver make an appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals in '93-'94 and establish himself as one of the league’s players.
While injuries helped to derail the length of his Hall of Fame career, “The Russian Rocket” was a 7x All-Star, ‘91-‘92 Calder Trophy Winner and led the league in scoring three times.
