In this episode we discuss Dom DiMaggio. It is never easy to escape the shadow of an iconic older sibling like Joe DiMaggio. However, Dom DiMaggio was one of the American League’s best Center Fielders for the Boston Red Sox during the late 1940s & early 1950s.
A terrific leadoff hitter who set the table for a powerful Boston lineup, DiMaggio was also a fantastic defensive player in Center Field. “The Little Professor” was a 7x All-Star, hit .298 over his career & helped Boston win the AL Pennant in 1946.
