As a young hot-shot, Shanahan helped lead the Denver Broncos to multiple Super Bowls as an assistant in the late-1980s. Despite a horrendous first stint as an NFL Head Coach in Los Angeles in the immediate aftermath, Shanahan once again became an in-demand commodity as a Head Coach after a stint in the early 90s with Sam Francisco as their Offensive Coordinator.
During his 14 years as the Head Coach in Denver, Shanahan won the franchise’s first Super Bowl (first two, back-to-back) and solidified himself as one of the NFL’s most innovative offensive minds!
Although a later stint in Washington netted no titles, Shanahan won 170 regular season games & is responsible for developing some of the top coaching staff in talent in professional football.
