Today we’re discussing Bill Goldberg. A solid Defensive Tackle at the University of Georgia, Goldberg was selected in the 11th Round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Sadly, his NFL career never took off due to a series of devastating injuries.
Although his pro football dreams were dashed, Goldberg found immediate success in the WCW during the mid-late 1990s.
Using his patented “spear” move, Goldberg became the WCW’s biggest & most marketable star due to a long winning streak.
Goldberg later joined the WWE & is now enshrined in the WWE HOF!!!
