One of the biggest stars in professional tennis during the early 1990s, Seles burst on the scene when she won the French Open at age 16 in 1990.
Seles then went on to record seven more Grand Slam singles titles before she turned 20! Sadly, her career was completely altered after she was stabbed by a crazed fan in Germany in 1993.
Although she never regained her World #1 ranking, Seles rebounded to capture the 1996 Australian Open. Overall, Seles won nine Grand Slam singles titles & was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2019.
