It didn’t take long for Cabrera to make his presence known in MLB. At age 20, the hard-hitting Venezuelan helped the Florida Marlins win a World Series title. Cabrera then built off his successful rookie campaign & became one of the best players of his era.
In Detroit he became a superstar for the Tigers. He led the team to an AL Pennant in 2012 as well as posted the first Triple Crown in MLB in over 40 seasons.
Overall, Cabrera was a 12x All-Star, 2x AL MVP and a 4x Batting Title winner. What is even more amazing, Cabrera is only one of three players in MLB history to finish his career with an above .300 BA, 500 or more Home Runs & 3,000 or more Hits.
