Although he struggled early in his career with mechanics and control, Randy Johnson could be considered the best Left-Handed Pitcher in the history of Major League Baseball.
Standing an imposing 6’10” with an over 100 MPH Fastball and Slider which could reach the mid-90s, Johnson was a 5x Cy Young Award winner. In addition, “The Big Unit” was a 10x All-Star, was Co-MVP of the 2001 World Series, won 303 MLB games and finished his career with the most Strikeouts of any Left-Handed Pitcher in the history of the league (4,875, 2nd only to Nolan Ryan all-time)!
