After 17 seasons of zero postseason berths and little success, the 1977 Denver Broncos put an end to the franchise’s misery and were led by their dominating defense. Nicknamed “The Orange Crush” due to their uniforms and devastating play, the Broncos crushed teams in 1977 with their 3-4 Defense created by DC Joe Collier. While their season ended in a Super Bowl XII loss, this Broncos team will never be forgotten.
