Born and bred to be a basketball player in a Western Pennsylvania town focused on football, Pete Maravich became a legend. The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer at LSU, Maravich parlayed his tireless work ethic and success into a great NBA career. His ball handling and wizardry on the court have never been matched and he was at least a half century ahead of his time. Despite playing on mediocre squads, Maravich led the NBA in scoring for one season and was named one of the league’s 50 Greatest Players in 1996 & is in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
