One of the most unlikely teams to ever win a Conference Championship in NFL history, the 1994 San Diego Chargers were a Cinderella story unlike any other. A good team with a stout ground attack & big plays from the passing game (Natrone Means, Stan Humphries & Tony Martin), solid defense (HOF Junior Seau) and great special teams (John Carney, Andre Coleman & Darrien Gordon), San Diego was left for dead after starting 6-0 & finishing the season 5-5. However, they took advantage of every opportunity to pull off two postseason upsets in the AFC playoffs. While they were ultimately destroyed by one of the league’s best teams ever in Super Bowl 29, their legacy in San Diego will never be forgotten.
