The 1995 California Angels are one of MLB’s most intriguing stories. Armed with a strong lineup and two great starting pitchers, the Angels got out to a blistering start & appeared primed to win the AL West for the first time since 1986. Up 11.5 games on August 24th, two separate 9 game losing streaks forced the Angles into a one-game playoff against the Seattle Mariners to determine their season’s fate. Sadly, they lost & 1995 remains one of the biggest collapses in franchise history.
