One of the most dominant players of his era, Elgin Baylor was one of the NBA’s first superstars. After a successful career at Seattle University, Baylor teamed with Jerry West on the Lakers after he was made the #1 Overall pick in the NBA Draft. The Small Forward was an incredible scorer, a gifted shooter, amazing passer and terrific rebounder. Baylor helped make the Lakers a staple in Los Angeles after their move from Minneapolis & has his #22 retired by the franchise. Although he never won a title as a player, Baylor was a Rookie of the Year, an 11x All-Star & named one of the game’s “75 Greatest Players.” Post-retirement, Baylor became GM for the Los Angeles Clippers & was named “NBA Executive of the Year” in 2006.
