This was such a powerful conversation. Our Italian-Irish Catholic family is nothing short of dynamic. Chaos has always been the norm and laughter was the keystone of every gathering. Although it made for some incredible holidays and memories, there was something more sinister prompting these seemingly silly antics.
So, Courtney and I delve into some family skeletons. We discuss how we have chosen to hold ourselves accountable and smash the cycle of abuse and control. We share our awareness of our own shortcoming and openness to vulnerabilities, how we don't always have the answers for our kids and how she's letting go of her fears to pursue her passion while she raises her kids.
