I am SO sorry!
But why are you apologizing for something you took no part in?
In today’s episode, we talk about forgiveness. Forgiveness is so important to your OWN healing when you hold onto the anger and hurt that comes with betrayal it shows up in all areas of your life. This includes yourself, we hold ourselves hostage to the past all too often. The key to your freedom is forgiveness and letting the past live where it belongs, in the past. Sometimes people feel that forgiveness excuses the people that hurt us. This is not the case, you can forgive someone but never speak to them again. You are allowing your soul to let go of the hurt that has stunted your growth causing you to feel stuck.
Then there is forgiving yourself, there is no one that is harder on you than YOU. Your freedom from the bondage of self-loathing, doubt and reckless behaviours may lay in the need to forgive yourself so you can move on. It’s well worth the effort. Working on forgiveness can help us increase our self-esteem and give us a sense of inner strength and safety. It can reverse the lies that we often tell ourselves when someone has hurt us deeply like, I am not enough or I’m not worthy. Forgiveness can heal us and allow us to move on in life with meaning and purpose. Forgiveness matters and you will be its primary beneficiary.
