This week in English we are continuing our unit on Materialism. We will be reading an article about La Rinconada, Peru and the Gold mine there. In Film Studies this week we begin Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, a romantic take on the lives of outlaws of the same name. We will also be talking about the 1960s in Cinema.
This week's reading is All Hallows by Louise Glück. Louise Glück has been awarded the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature "for her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal."
