The book of Lamentations teach us that disobedience to the Lord results in immense suffering and distress. It also offers a biblical view of how we can respond to God in grief and sorrow. Main Summary Point
God’s discipline is inevitable, but He has promised His presence through the process. We need to confess and repent to be restored to him. During times of sorrow, our steadfast anchor of faith is the unchanging character of God. We have a God who is loving, merciful and faithful through generations. True faith will lead us to a hope that propels us to live our Christian life through pain and suffering.
