Stop Acting is an exercise devised by renown acting coach Harold Guskin. I give you a simplified version of that exercise that I was taught. It helps you get in touch with your instincts and your emotions. I use it almost every day. You can do it many times with a monologue to help yourself memorize it or you can do it once with a few lines of a monologue and then do it with a different one the next day. I hope it helps you free yourself of prescribed ideas of what a character can be and help you truly make it yours.
