Welcome to Off The Bricks, poets and poetry lovers! This month we feature Karen George. George is the author of five chapbooks, most recently the collaborative ekphrastic Frame and Mount the Sky, and three collections from Dos Madres Press: Swim Your Way Back (2014), A Map and One Year (2018), and Where Wind Tastes Like Pears (2021). She's been nominated for Pushcart Prizes and won Slippery Elm’s 2022 poetry contest. Her short story collection, How We Fracture, which won the Rosemary Daniell Fiction Prize, is forthcoming from Minerva Rising Press in Fall 2023.
