Great to be here Michael looking forward to debating the news with you. Our number one story this week are reports that Rishi Sunak says net zero strategy must be ‘proportional and pragmatic,’ Is the Government back tracking on climate change commitments …and does it matter ?
MICHAEL
For story number two, it’s the cannibalism spoof documentary The British Miracle Meat on Channel 4 which seems to have backfired or have folk over just reacted to what was meant as a joke - human flesh being sold as an alternative to animal meat
BOB
While for story number three we ask why all the fuss over Farage's bank account did it really deserve the resignation, was it really that important ?
MICHAEL
Meanwhile for story number four, Unesco calls for a global ban on all smartphones in schools is this practical , realistic ? What is there to but done with mobile phones in the classroom ?
BOB
And what’s at number five? It's about punishment not in school but in a Rugby Club when players who fail at training exercise they had to drive a three wheel car - a Robin Reliant - for a week. Is this the way to punish professional sportsman ?
MICHAELThat’s this week's Five in the Eye!
