Well, it’s Friday and we know that can only mean one thing: it’s Five in the Eye day! Yes, this is Phil Woodford welcoming you to Colourful Radio’s weekly news review show. It’s episode 0321.

And joining Phil via Zoom this week, it’s me - Michael Ohajuru - revealing that our top story is going to be about whether it’s possible to change the minds of people with racist views. One man recently told the BBC that his daughter had helped him to rethink his attitudes. And in the same week, a judge instructed a young white supremacist to read Jane Austen and Charles Dickens rather than right-wing propaganda.
PHIL
For story number two, it’s China’s decision to limit the amount of time that kids can spend playing video games. In fact, the youngsters are restricted to just one hour a night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
MICHAEL
So what’s story number three? Well, university canteens in Berlin, Germany are going mostly vegan and vegetarian in an attempt to tackle the climate crisis.

And when was the last time you got measured up for a good old-fashioned M&S suit, Michael? Well, you might find it rather harder now, as the staple of the office wardrobe has been dropped from nearly half their stores - reflecting the move towards casual attire during the pandemic. That’s story number four.
MICHAEL
And to round off the show this week, at number five, we head to Switzerland, where cows apparently travel in style. By helicopter!
PHIL
They’re really on the mooove! And that’s this week’s Five in the Eye!
