PHIL
Hello and a very warm welcome to Colourful Radio’s weekly news review show, Five in the Eye. We’re going to discuss some of the stories that have caught our attention over the past week in what is episode 0330. Yep, that’s our three hundred and thirtieth show. Amazing. I’m Phil Woodford in London.

And joining Phil via Zoom this week, it’s me - Michael Ohajuru. And I can reveal our top story ties in with the COP26 summit that is being held in Glasgow. Phil got into an interesting discussion online about fast fashion and he wants to tell us more about it.

Our second story this week? A week used to be a long time in politics now 48 hours is even longer the Tory Owen Paterson was suspended one day then back from suspension only to be suspended again before finally resigning all in the space of 48 hours leading to the headline Owen Paterson quits as MP over lobbying row 'nightmare'

For story number three, we’re going to be delving into some very deep moral questions. But rather than getting Phil to answer them - which would be hopeless - we’re going to ask a computer algorithm!
PHIL
What’s story number four? It has to be the Scottish headteacher who was apparently photographed by a pupil flying off to Turkey, when it’s allegedly claimed she’d told colleagues she’d been pinged for Covid!
MICHAEL
And our final story, to wrap up the five, takes us up into space. Astronauts travelling back from the International Space Station were lacking toilet facilities. And making use of ‘backup undergarments’!
PHIL
It gives a whole new meaning to splashdown! And that’s this week’s Five in the Eye!
