The Indian position in Eastern Ladakh is now an advantageous one for us. In the 6th Corps Commander level talks, the tone was different. The Chinese wanted a withdrawal to positions before our end August 2020 pre-emptive occupation of the Rejang La - Rechin La ridgeline. We wanted both sides to move back to their positions as in April 2020. The Chinese are searching for a face-saving option. Its time to get tough for us.
