Carlin Karr is an Advanced Sommelier and the Wine Director at Frasca, Tavernetta, Sunday Vinyl, and Pizzeria Locale. Carlin has been recognized in Forbes’ “30 Under 30”, Wine Enthusiast’s “40 Under 40”, and was named Food and Wine Magazine’s “Sommelier of the Year” in 2018.
Today we talk to Carlin about staying healthy in the restaurant business, her diagnosis of an extremely rare disease, and how much she loves wine. We also tackle some big questions about restaurants in the COVID era, and how we can use this massive challenge to better an industry we care so much about. This was a such an intimate side of Carlin, and we were so honored for her to share her story with us.
