PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Greenbrier's head football coach Randy Tribble to get his thoughts following the Panthers' 43-28 victory over the Bearcats of Brookland High School in the first round of the Arkansas state playoffs.
Greenbrier has now won five games in a row and six out of their last seven. As they currently ride this wave of momentum, they hope to make a lengthy run into the postseason.
It will be a "Battle of the Panthers" next week as Greenbrier faces Magnolia High School in the second round of the playoffs. Magnolia is coming off a first-round victory over Pea Ridge, a team that Greenbrier was supposed to play in Week 7 before the schedule was changed due to COVID-19.
