PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Greenbrier's head football coach Randy Tribble to get his thoughts following the Panthers' tough defeat at the hands of the Harrison Goblins. The Panthers were defeated by a close margin in a one-possession ball game by a final score of 33-29.
The defeat for the Panthers means they have now dropped four of their last five since their season-opening win over the Beebe Badgers. With four weeks remaining in the regular season, Greenbrier now sits at 2-4 on the season.
Greenbrier will return to the road next week to battle Monticello High School; the game was originally scheduled to be against the Pea Ridge Blackhawks before the game was canceled due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The Panthers will be in search of their first victory since Homecoming night over Clarksville to hopefully spark a run into the postseason.
