Drum roll please! This month we bring you our first foray into foreign language cinema and we're starting with one of the most well-loved. The 2001 French film Amelie stars a host of oddball characters (erm...like every Jean-Pierre Jeunet film) and dashes of magic realism but manages to stay this side of the worst of Wes Anderson. It's a charming romance (but FRENCH, so be careful if you're watching it with your mum!) with a mystery thrown in for good measure. Warning:likely to make you hungry. Appréciez le film!
