My guest today is Myhraliza Aala she began her acting career in Hawaii and found her voice in writing and producing in Portland, Oregon.In her debut as a producer and writer in her 2019 short Brightside, she has since produced three other projects in the midst of the pandemic, one of which is a proposed pilot, Oh My Dating Hell. She is currently in pre-production for her third episode of Oh Myh Dating Hell that is set to start filming in Portland at the end of May. Her production company, Aala Is Possible, came as a result of her producing her own projects with the hopes of helping produce other women in bringing their stories to life as well as uplifting diverse voices.As an actor, she is known for her roles as Sue in Sony Pictures Japan 50 FIRST KISSES (Japanese version of 50 First Dates); CBS’ HAWAII FIVE-O ; and was also featured in HALSEY’S music video, NEW AMERICANA/BADLANDS as well as most recently, NIKI ZEFANYA’S music video, due out this spring . She made her theater debut at Twilight Theater Company in her lead role as Debra in THE SMELL OF THE KILL. She is also a voice over actor having recently been the voice for the Department of Health in Seattle for BART+ Radio.
