On this episode of The Local Woman, Merveille Grant chats with Sierra about women’s health. Merveille is a Medical Laboratory Scientist, who is originally front the Congo (Africa), but currently resides in Macon. Merveille graduated from Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern University) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Leadership and Management at WGU. At 33 Merveille was diagnosed with uterine fibroids after experiencing a miscarriage. This tragic event ignited her passion for women’s health and on this episode she opens up about this difficult experience in hopes of encouraging other women to take control of their health by empowering them with the knowledge necessary to make proactive and informed decisions regarding their own health!
