On this episode of The Local Woman, Sierra and Jade are joined by their friend of over a decade, Erin Kelly, to discuss her career as an educator. Erin is an English Language Arts teacher in the Bibb County School District and the 2020-2021 runner-up District Teacher of the Year. In addition to attempting to instill a love of Literature in her 8th graders, Erin coaches girl’s soccer and the Academic Team. She also loves working with the Fine Arts Department at her school by assisting with the makeup and costumes for the various plays and productions.
Erin is herself a product of the Bibb County School System, where she met several of The Local Woman’s lovely hosts (her words not ours, but you don’t hear us complaining!) , Sierra and Jade, and attended Middle Georgia State University where she met hosts Sarah and Emily.
