Welcome back to #MDTribe! I am ecstatic for this week's episode with Future Dr. Oboh! I met Osose through Instagram and she has been such an inspiration to me as a medical student and women in medicine! She is a Fourth year medical student at Michigan State University CHM along with her sister, Onome Oboh! She is child of Nigerian immigrants and shares the challenges she faced as the first in her family to pursue a medical doctorate. Osose has accomplished an overwhelming amount of things throughout her life and especially in her medical career. She shares her passion for traveling and visual storytelling and how they have played a role in her journey. She also shares her experiences as SNMA National President, FIGS ambassador, and her current chapter in applying to residency! She has become the woman she needed as a pre-medical student and continues to inspire Black and Brown woman nation-wide. Her motto is "Do It All," and it is evident that she lives up to these three words every single day. She absolutely hilarious, authentic, empowered, AND SOME! She does a phenomenal job at highlighting how diverse women in medicine can be and I have no doubt that she will impact many lives as a physician. Every minute of this video is worth it!!! Frankly, watch it twice if you need to because this is ALOT of #blackgirlmagic to digest!!!
