Every Addiction is actually an attempt to meet a need. We are usually victims or slaves to the things we crave for. It could be love, approval, attention, recognition and the likes. Once we sense that emptiness within we end up looking for things to satisfy the craving which in turn can lead us into an abusive addiction.
