Healthcare services are critical for individual and community health. Unfortunately, geography sometimes plays a role and some rural populations are less well-off with respect to health care.
In this episode, we are honored to feature Jacy Warrel, the CEO and Executive Director of Rural Health Association of Tennessee, Inc. The RHA of TN is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization of individuals and organizations committed to improving the health of rural Tennesseans. Jacy discusses RHA's services to the community, challenges especially in education about COVID, developing community trust with key stakeholders, dealing with cultural differences and different demographics, coping styles for counties with no rural hospitals, and many more.
