This has been Maggie Varney’s mission with Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids. She is our guest on today’s episode. She is serving the community by providing wigs to both adults and children. In the 18 years that Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids has been active, they haven’t charged a single kid for a wig! Maggie reflects on the challenges of starting and working in a non-profit organization. She also recalls how she tries to get a bill passed so insurance can cover the costs of the wigs for children.
