The word "Advent" is derived from the Latin word which means "coming", and for us as Christ Followers, represents a season of celebration in which we look back, remembering the coming of our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition, and maybe even more so, it is also a season of anticipation in which we look toward His return, much in the same way that the fathers of our faith once looked to His initial coming. At DCC, we celebrate Advent in four weeks, centered around four themes embodied in the coming of our Lord and King, both past and future... Hope, Joy, Love, and Peace
