On Having A Cuppa, Chris makes his way to the East Coast to rub shoulders with sports enthusiast, poet, podcaster and mythology scholar Steve Matthews.
Over the course of a full hour, the silver-throated Matthews gives us an intricate portrait of how his life played out growing up middle-class, being an outsider and how his career in alcoholism and drug addiction took off.
Since achieving sobriety, Steve has found solace in snowboarding, writing poetry and utilising both his voice talent and his ability to connect with others as the host of his own podcast Elevated, which is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
The two also share their mutual love for history and discuss the relevance and the exceptions to using the F-word.
