Description

Back on for a second round, we have Chantai Minet joining us for yet another impactful conversation with Yenukwa and Andy. In this episode, we cover many juicy topics, yet the essence of this dialogue is centred around personal stories coupled with the vulnerability of leaning into this edge or area. Chantai opens up about a powerful chapter of her journey and organically instigates sharing from Yenukwa and Andy. Following these shares, we dive deeper into subjects connected to men's mental health, the KOH pillars of vulnerability, service, and our King's Code elements. Chantai Minet is a Registered Provisional Psychologist, poet, aspiring yogi, and sunshine seeker in Mohkinstis/Calgary, Alberta. Chantai was raised in the Yukon Territory and identifies as someone with mixed ancestry (Tlingit First Nations, European, Chinese, and Vietnamese). She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2014 and a Master of Science in Educational Psychology Program, specializing in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2021. Chantai’s long-held curiosity and interest in different cultures are expressed through her love of traveling and the creative arts. Chantai has backpacked around the world, partnering with various philanthropic organizations to contribute support to communities in need. Her graduate research focused on decolonization through de-essentializing Indigenous relationality. In her professional practice, Chantai works from a holistic perspective which means she supports people in the areas of mental, emotional, embodied, and spiritual healing. Amongst other things, Chantai values healthy relationships (with self and others), humility, creativity, and the courage of authentic storytelling.
