This episode is a bit different, just reading some thoughts I scribbled in a notebook after the insulting verdict in the trial of the policemen who killed Breonna Taylor.
Wednesday, September 23rd. Without justice, conditions for peace do not exist. No peace in the world, nor the psyche. To pretend like it’s on the oppressed to just do better or be better is an insult to human intelligence. Even that person at home watching the images on their devices. There is no fourth wall to protect you when the truth is present.
Without justice, healing can never be possible. No matter the spin doctors spewing opinions, hoping to once again extinguish what burns eternally. The true irony is these foul practices only exist for the few, a few who prefer profit margins over people.
Without trust, peace does not exist. Without justice, society struggles with a collective conscience, desperate to find pundits that will tell us it’s okay to look away. Just consume more products and entertainment. It's a creepy thing how the truth remains.

🎧 Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old EMT worker killed by three policemen in Louisville, Kentucky.
🎧 The policemen shot Breonna Taylor eight times while she lay sleeping in her bed. Policemen using a no-knock warrant, using a battering ram, invading the wrong home.
🎧 The shooting happened in March. After months-long protests, the policemen finally went on trial in September.
🎧 The verdict: two cops were found innocent, the third charged with “wanton endangerment” because he fired 10 rounds through a door, some of the bullets damaged the walls.
