Description

Karon’s joy for visual arts in acting intensified after a first-grade performance in the play, “Puss and Boots.” During football off-seasons, Karon began to master his craft by taking acting class in Los Angeles. One year after retirement from football, he transformed his body to fit the big screen. His career took off when he booked his first speaking role in a Russ Parr romantic comedy, “35 and Ticking” which starred Kevin Hart, Nicole Ari Parker, and Meagan Good. He soon became a favorite of casting directors which led to roles in “Single Ladies,” “Necessary Roughness,” “For Better or Worse,” and “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.” He soon garnered a recurring role on “Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor.” 

Karon’s dream role was secured in 2015, when he portrayed his childhood hero, Muhammad Ali, in the independent film, “The Last Punch.” While continuing to build his resume, Karon has secured leading roles within four installments of the “Marry Me for Christmas” franchised produced by UpTV. Karon secured roles in “A Christmas Blessing,” and “Coins for Christmas” produced by TVOne and BET, respectively. 

Armed with an unwavering belief in himself, a good dose of talent, charisma, and indomitable work ethnic Karon Joseph Riley is claiming his place in the entertainment industry. This will be his best year yet as a new series, “Ambitions” on OWN & Saints & Sinners will expand his fan-base to date.
