Description

In this episode, I discuss one of the most famous psychological experiments. The Milgram Shock Experiment.

Stanley Milgram started this experiment as he wanted to investigate justifications for acts of genocide offered by those accused at the World War II, Nuremberg War Criminal trials. Their defense was often based on "obedience" - that they were just "following orders from their superior".

Could it be that millions of Nazis in the Holocaust were just "following orders"?

Are we all capable of such an atrocity if put in the same situation?

Listen and find out!

You will be surprised once your hear the results.
