Preston Singletary is a Native American musician glass artist.
He grew up in the Seattle area listening to the stories told by his Tlingit great-grandparents.
His art has become synonymous with the relationship between Tlingit culture and fine art.
His glass sculptures deal with themes of Tlingit mythology and traditional designs, while also using music to shape his contemporary perspective of Native culture.
Preston Singletary is the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions.
He still lives and works in Seattle.

Hattie Lee Mendoza is a member of the Cherokee Nation whose art is inspired by her native ancestry, but also by a rural Kansas upbringing.
She illustrates narratives by inventing compositions driven by a theme or experience, translating them through the lens of abstracted patterns she has built out of her cultural research of Cherokee and other native arts.
She is one of the featured artists at the Center For Native Futures in Chicago ,Illinois, which opened in September 2023.
