Velma Kee Craig is a Diné (Navajo) poet, award-winning writer, director of short films, and a textile artist and weaver.
She currently works as an assistant curator at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, and lives in nearby Mesa, Arizona.
After introducing herself in a traditional way in Navajo and English, she discusses her creative process as part of her daily routine.
