Allegheny Health Network believes nurses are the greatest where they make the greatest difference. Our goal is to help new nurses make a successful and supported transition from classroom learning to bedside care.
Our Program Manager of the AHN Nurse Residency Program, Denise Ratkiewicz MSN, RN, NPD-BC, joins us to discuss the program. All of our Graduate Nurses are auto-enrolled in the AHN Nurse Residency Program to guide them through the transitional period. AHN's Nurse facilitators help new nurses develop their critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills throughout their first year journey.
