Communism: a political and economic ideology with some very strong connotations. But as more and more people - especially young people - are getting fed up with the current western system of capitalism (aka the rich get richer and the poor get poorer), the idea of extreme equality through communism and socialism is starting to gain popularity. But today we’re here to ask…what’s even the difference between socialism and communism? Could it possibly be better than our current system? No question is to too basic as we dive into this beginners discussion - there’s no gatekeeping politics here! As well, we’re joined by Marek Rossi who spent his childhood in former Czechoslovakia as he gives us his first hand experience living under communist rule.
