Crystal is a young Latina living in a border town where the U.S. and Mexico meet who was diagnosed with MS at the age of 11. Sixteen years later, she’s a bilingual journalist who uses her social media platforms to share her journey while living with this unpredictable disease. She has taken advantage of the opportunities life gives her and loves to travel. She’s backpacked through Europe, traveled throughout Mexico, and recently Brazil. She enjoys watching movies and being cozy with her pug, Pumba. Her goal is to be able to travel to Japan and Iceland despite her symptoms once traveling is possible for the immunocompromised.
