Many students see summer as what it is: a break from school. Many students take the time off for vacation, relaxing, or procrastinating the summer reading list for your next english class. But what if I told you that summer can actually be a time for reinvention, rediscovery, and exploration? Today we have a special guest from El Capitan High School. He is a high-calibre student who has participated in, applied to, or has been accepted into many summer academic programs including the the UC Merced STEM Academy, COSMOS, and the CCBM Science and Technology Enrichment Program. We will be discussing the true potential of summer for high schoolers, and what you, our wonderful listeners should consider when June 6th rolls around.
