As a K-pop fan, Bonnie was recruiter by a friend in the Seoul startup industry to lead the marketing function in 2018, after spending 4-years in an agency in HK. The marketing scene in Korea was totally new to her - the app itself, the social behavior, the regulations, the direction it is heading. She didn't spend long before she moved back to an international agency house again. She spoke about the relationship culture, the advantage of a mid-career expat, the prospect and packages, the difference of marketing industry in respective economies, the emerging trends and marriages of digital and offline marketing in the long-run, among other personal views of this Kimchi land.
