I don’t know about you, but when I was first told that I needed to prospect, I had no idea what that really meant.

I remember feeling great when I started my business, but then I got stuck. It wasn’t growing how I thought it would.

In my job at the time and with what I was learning in my doctorate program, I was familiar with recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining employees.

Then with starting my own business and being my own boss, it had me looking at things so different. And I was faced with this prospecting thing.

But the whole prospecting thing was new for me.

I read blogs that talked about the fact that your business cannot survive if you are not prospecting to get a team or customers.
