Did you know that coaching is an intervention?
Interventions are one of the many things that I enjoyed working with in the schools. The interventions were for students or for employees. They were at the individual, group, or system levels.
Coaching as an intervention can be provided by individuals within an organization or outside of an organization.
As an entrepreneur or a small business owner, more than likely you would be seeking coaching from someone outside of your organization.
The biggest perk with having an external coach is that person is likely to be brining you experiences and beneficial strategies that worked in several organizations, not just one.
